After Clara's birthday, we have had some slower days as summer is cooling a little and approaching its end. We are really looking forward to leaving on Saturday for our much anticipated family vacation to the beach. Izzy talks about the beach several times a day!

Baby Joel and his momma came to visit us on Wednesday for lunch and a walk:
Izzy was sooo independent taking a chair out to the mailbox to retrieve the [bills]. ;) She had succeeded until the dismount, and ended up with some scrapes and a bleeding fat lip. She loved that ice pack!
