Auntie visits (and meets Clara!)

Tess has to work at Christmas when my parents and Maggie are coming down here, so she came for a long weekend early in December. We met her in Elkin, NC for a night, and then we came back to our home. We had a great time with her, and I wish she could come sooner. Izzy is so used to Skype with Auntie Tess, so she warmed up to her right away. This visit was Tess's first time with her newest niece!

Yes, lipgloss was Izzy's fav thing about Auntie Tess. Just like she associates mints with Grammy (Clark), she now associates lipgloss with Tess. It was hilarious watching Izzy get soooooo excited to put it on her own lips.

The day before Tess left, we ran some errands and even went with her to get an iphone! Very cool phone. It was an eventful time at the store--Clara puked alllllllllllllllllll over the floor of the store, and then Izzy had a severe bout of diarrhea there. Thankfully, I was not there by myself!
